Feng + Ge
RPM Festival, in collaboration with Non-Event, is thrilled to present "Feng + Ge," an immersive exploration of Chinese sonic avant-garde art. This unique event features groundbreaking performances by Feng Jiangzhou and Weilu Ge, showcasing their innovative use of field recordings, electronic beats, and abstract visual effects.

Duo Frequency 重频

In the Brutalist architecture of Boston City Hall's Mezzanine, "Duo Frequency" emerges as a curatorial experiment by Feng Jiangzhou and Ge Weilu that defies traditional performance paradigms. This event, a blend of semi-open live performance and ambiguous recording session, showcases their venture into the extreme spectra of sound—eschewing the middle frequencies to focus solely on the high and low ends.

Through a dynamic interplay of field recordings, electronic manipulations, and abstract visual effects, the space becomes a canvas for an auditory and visual narrative that draws from ancient lexicons to sculpt sensory impressions. "Duo Frequency" is not merely a performance; it is a critical inquiry into the effects of sonic and visual frequencies on human perception and the power of spatial context.
